About Series One and Series Two Images
In addition to the individual screen saver installations
Parry Sound Area Series One and
Parry Sound Area Series Two, the image files from each are included on the distribution application CD-ROM in separate folders. These image files are provided for your own use in accordance with the licence issued with this software product. The Terms of Use specify that the images can be used for personal, non-commercial and educational use only. These image files are in .jpeg format and larger in size to preserve quality and definition.
Series One
Location on CD-ROM Distribution Disk:
\Images\SeriesOne
This series contains 210 images, each 1024 x 768 pixels. Images in this series are higher in quality and definition. File size ranges from 300,000 to 900,000 bytes with some files smaller and some larger.
Series Two
Location on CD-ROM Distribution Disk:
\Images\SeriesTwo
This series contains 200 images, each 640 x 480 pixels. Series Two images contain basic quality and definition. File size is considerably smaller ranging from about 31,500 to 136,000 bytes. Series Two images are web ready.
About Auto Installation of Images from CD-ROM Distribution Disk
Series One and/or Series Two image files can be copied to your computer's hard drive quickly and easily by selecting
Copy Series One Images to Hard Drive (Optional) and
Copy Series Two Images to Hard Drive (Optional) respectively from the task menu on the Installation CD-ROM Distribution Disk. The files will be copied to
C:\PS_Images\SeriesOne and
C:\PS_Images\SeriesTwo respectfully based on your task selection.
NOTE: The DOS Session Window for either series installation may not close, depending on the version of Windows running in your system. If it does not close, look for a message in the DOS Window signifying it is safe to close the respective window. You can then manually close this window by clicking on
'X' in the upper right corner, or by clicking on the
MS-DOS or CMD Prompt Icon in the upper left corner and then clicking
'Close'.
