Use Windows Explorer to delete images

1. Access Windows Explorer by clicking the Start button on your screen.

Access Windows Start Menu

Click Programs and click Windows Explorer (may be under Accessories)
Your Desktop may also contain Windows Explorer shortcut.

2. Click hard drive (generally labelled with drive letter (C:)) and look in right panel for folder containing images. If images were installed with CD-ROM Distribution Disk, folder will be labelled 'PS_Images'. If images were installed manually, the folder could and may be labelled with a different name. The folder containing the image files on your hard drive can also be located in the left panel of Windows Explorer by clicking the '+' sign next to the hard drive label to expand the hard drive view.

Selecting Hard Disk

3. The folder 'PS_Images' should also contain subdirectories labelled SeriesOne and/or SeriesTwo.

4. You can delete the entire 'PS_Images' folder and its contents, or select one of the subdirectories to delete. You can also double-click the subdirectory labels to view the individual image files.

Selecting Folders for Deletion on Hard Disk

To delete a file, a subdirectory or the entire 'PS_Images' folder (or other folder name established by a user) click the respective directory/folder to highlight. Then click the Delete icon on your toolbar to remove. You can also press the delete key (del), or right click the file or folder and choose Delete from a pop-down menu.

This process sends deleted items to the Recycle Bin. Enter Recycle Bin to restore files and folders, or to permanently remove files from your hard drive.
